This school project was to design the logo and packaging for an imaginary alcoholic coffee brand. I created a logo inspired by 80s style video games and imagery, and chose to package the product in a cafeteria-sized milk carton. These combined brought an element of nostalgia to the brand and gave is a marketable and fun voice for advertising, allowing it to stand out from the competition.

This assignment was to develop a logo in an hour and a half for a coffee shop, keeping in mind the original philosophical nature of cafes. I drew the name from George Berkeley who said "to be is to be perceived" which is also the tagline used in the logo. I combined this philosophy with the logo by hiding a coffee bean within the lightbulb. I chose the color orange because it's a mentally stimulating color, adding a navy blue to compliment it.
