This school project was to design the logo and packaging for an imaginary alcoholic coffee brand. I created a logo inspired by 80s style video games and imagery, and chose to package the product in a cafeteria-sized milk carton. These combined brought an element of nostalgia to the brand and gave is a marketable and fun voice for advertising, allowing it to stand out from the competition.

The cure. The solution. The last beauty product you'll ever need.
The Concept
After years of personal struggle at the hands of the beauty industry, I have finally decided to call them out. My insecurities are not something to be exploited for commercial use.
I created the brand Amaurosia to inspire people to think about how the beauty industry advertises to its consumers. Companies sell products that fix faults that are nonexistent. Consumers are willing to blindly purchase these unnecessary snake oils without fact checking or researching what they are putting on and into their bodies.
The product Snake Oil acts as a cure to all these fake problems. It claims to solve them all at a reasonable $200 for 80ml of product. It emphasizes the insane
price for something that doesn't cure a real problem.
